Tepy Kong, DDS

Dr Tepy Kong received her B.A. from the University of Richmond. She followed in her father's footsteps and pursued a career in dentistry. Upon graduating with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery from Howard University in 2000, she joined Dr. Saory Kong in private practice that September. She believes that the key to achieving optimal oral health is through communication, which she is fluent in four languages, and prevention. While providing the most comprehensive treatment plan, she educates her patients in the importance of hygiene and preventive dental care. Through continuing education and the Las Vegas Institute, she commits herself to providing quality, up to date care focusing on all aspects of restorative, cosmetic, and neuromuscular dentistry. Dr. Tepy Kong is a member of the AGD. Dr. Tepy's hobbies include learning different languages, traveling, gardening and all things culinary.

Saory Kong, DDS

Dr. Saory Kong was destined to chose a career in public service. He has dedicated himself to providing health care for others in need. After his second year of medical school at L'Ecole de Medicine in Phnom-Penh, Cambodia, he was offered a grant to attend L' Université Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France for Dentistry. Because Cambodia was saturated with physicians, he accepted the offer. Upon receiving his diploma as Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 1970, he was asked to join the faculty and teach at D' Odonto- Stomatologie, the First Dental School to open in Cambodia. Dr. Kong and his family fled to the U.S. as war refugees in the late 1970s after the Khmer Rouge invasion of Cambodia. Dr. Kong attended Georgetown University School of Dentistry where he completed his degree of Doctor in Dental Surgery for the second time in 1988. While he was attending Georgetown, Dr. Kong worked as a Dental Lab Technician. He and his wife, Khammaz Tep, were featured in the Falls Church News Press "Falls Church Dentist's Saga of Escape from the Mass Murdering Khmer Rouge" in January 1992.

Dr. Kong has dedicated himself to providing his patients with top quality, family-oriented dental care for patients of all ethnic and financial backgrounds. He takes great joy in seeing patients satisfied after completing their treatments. "It makes my day when patients come back smiling showing off their new set of teeth" he says.
Dr. Kong is highly skilled in prosthodontics, such as dentures and implant/bridge services. Through his continuing education he has strengthened and advanced his skills in all aspects of dentistry.
In his spare time, Dr. Kong enjoys playing tennis, cooking, gardening and spending time with his family.
